First outing of 2017 was attending Mane Event at the London Agriplex for a David Marcus Clinic.  Hans was a champ, as always, well behaved and sensible in high pressure surroundings.

His Querido’s Sire is His Highness a world renowned sire with the blood combination of Hohenstein/Donnerhall/Feiner Stern.

His Dam is the super performance mare Querida (registered as Roxelle), who successfully competed at the Prix St. George Level and was schooling all the Grand Prix work before she was sold on as a schoolmaster for a Junior, before retiring to broodmare duties.

Her sire Quattro B is a legendary producer of both Dressage horses and Jumpers, well known as the foundation for the line that produced greats such as Quaterback.

His Querido has his first foal in 2016 and was bred to a good variety of mares in 2016 and 2017.  He’s going great under saddle and was named  High Point Bronze horse at his dressage debut at Dressage Niagara with 3 first place ribbons. In 2017 he competed at First level and the FEI 5 year old classes with great scores and comments from the judges.  His very first under saddle performance was as a 3 year old in very competitive Governor and Lieutenant Governor’s cup class qualifiers.  Judge and Olympian Peter Gray was clearly impressed and put him 1st place in the Under Saddle and 2nd In the In Hand in classes with well over 30 entries

His Querido is producing very good quality foals out of a wide variety of mares.   He has produced the Ontario Foal Futurity winner in 2016, 2017 and 2018.  He also produced the foal futurity winner in Saskatchewan in 2017.  He produces very good type, strong toplines, beautiful heads and lovely gaits.

6th and 7th at place in the Lieutenant and Governor General’s Cup classes at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair

Winner and Second Place in the Lieutenant and Governor General’s Cup Qualifier.

Hans has breeding approval with both the Canadian Warmblood Horse Breeders Association and the Canadian Sport Horse Association.  He was presented September of 2014 to Canadian Warmblood  and received compliments on his development and beautiful type.  He was only 2 years old at the time, the youngest you can present a colt.  He was presented to Canadian Sport Horse in July of 2016 and was high point stallion of the day with an 8 for overall impression, type and development, 8.5 for his jump and a 9 for head neck and connection.

He’s an incredibly kind and level headed stallion, with a super work ethic and handles a busy show environment extremely well.  His bloodlines are known for super gaits and a quality jump, but also excellent  character and temperament.  His gaits are long and floaty for the hunter ring, but he has a lot of suspension when he engages his hind end.

He was  entered in the 2015, 2016 and 2017 CWHBA Stallion Service Auction which makes all the foals eligible for the Foal Futurity Program, an excellent program of foal classes across Canada.  Check out the CWHBA website for more information.

Stud fee for the 20189season is $ 1000 with a 2 year Live Foal Guarantee.  Collection and shipping charges are in addition to the stud fee.   Collection fee is $300.  Discounts considered for very good quality mares on a case by case basis.  Please inquire for details.
