Another Foal Futurity win for Vandenbrink Warmbloods

For the 3rd year in a row Vandenbrink Warmbloods brings home first prize in the CWHBA Ontario Foal Futurity at the CWHBA Open Breed show at Meadowlarke North.   This year it was His Reverie, a young but very well developed filly by His Querido out of Rivalia by Graf Royal out of Riverdale.  Judge Dorita Kozak complimented the filly on her well developed hindquarters, nice head and neck and beautiful head.  This is a full sibling to the 2016 winner His Rival, and half sibling to last years Harmony, all three sired by VandenBrinks own breeding stallion His Querido.

Foals Expected 2018

We have expected2018 foals3 mares confirmed in foal for next year. We look forward to 2 foals from our own stallion His Querido out of Rivalia and Vivika, and Restique is in foal to the dressage sensation Franklin. Franklin was champion of the KWPN licencing and also performance test. He is showing very well under saddle and is producing spectacular foals.

CWHBA Open Breed Show 2016


We took 2 foals to the CWHBA Open Breed show.   Special Effects (Special D x Restique (Redwine/Gribaldi) wowed the crowed with her big bouncy movement.  This filly has all kinds of power and Elasticity and placed 3rd in her foal  class.

His Rival the first foal by our young stallion His Querido out of Rivalia (Graf Royal/Kadans) won both foal classes, the Foal Futurity and the Open Foal Classes in front of different judges.  He ended up Reserve Junior Champion and Reserve Grand Champion.



We’re happy to announce that His Querido (aka Hans) is now also approved for breeding with the Canadian Sport Horse Association.  He received very positive comments on his conformation, gaits and performance in the jump chute.  He finished highest scoring stallion of the day with a 78.5.  More details to follow.


Standing at Stud – His Querido 2012 Oldenburg

His Querido is standing at stud at VandenBrink Warmbloods in Niagara.  This young promising Oldenburg stallion is from world renowned bloodlines.  He has fantastic gaits, a lovely jump and is super rideable.  He’s won his very first show under saddle the very competitive Lieutenant Governor’s Cup Qualifier in front of judge and Olympian Peter Gray.  He placed him 1st out of 32 horse in the Under Saddle and 2nd in the in-hand component the Governor General’s Cup Qualifier.  At the Royal he placed 6th under saddle and 7th in hand.  He will be shown training level dressage next summer and start working over fences.    He is licenced with the Canadian Warmblood Horse Breeders Association.
